How to edit a fact type or create a new one?

Please note that it is necessary to have relevant rights in the users and rights section in order to be able to edit or create Fact types.

1. Go to  from the home page or using the metro button  in the upper left corner of the screen and select the Events tab – Fact types in the Settings menu
2. In the list select fact category that you wish to modify, open it and within the field modify the name, description, activate it or deactivate . Deleting is only possible if there have been no facts within events investigation logged with this fact category yet.

1. To create a new Fact type, click on  and fill up relevant information in the field, name, description and select Fact category from the drop-down list

1. If no facts have been logged in neither of declared events with a certain Fact type it is possible to delete it. If this Fact type is associated with some facts already reported within investigation – then it’s only possible to deactivate it
