Statuses are changed according to Transitions determined in the Workflow that is in use. There’s always 1 workflow that is set as default, but another workflow can be chosen in each specific case if necessary. That is of course if this alternative workflow has been created. Changing the workflow is possible in the window to the right side over the CAPA list. It is only possible to change the workflow if no status changes have been done yet.
Possible transitions from current CAPA Status
are displayed under the Actual status field:
Each of these Transitions changes Status to the one that is planned for it within the Workflow. By clicking on
the Transition relevant to your current situation with this CAPA you
will open a window:
Next action can be assigned to a certain user within the Unit, that the CAPA is linked to and also necessary notes and information can be described within this window. Once finished, click on Change status in the bottom and your status is now changed.
As the CAPA status is changed, new transition
stages will be displayed under the Current status for proceeding to next steps
of implementation.
To view the Workflow and to understand which
next Status will be depending on the Transition click on in the right upper side of the screen. In the
window that opens you will see current Status and entire workflow.
As we point cursor on Transition stages
in this window it will show what is the next Status in case we change it
with the use of this Transition.
