When investigating an incident, not only Facts and Testimonies need to be logged in, but also Assumptions at a certain point, since not all the facts can be instantly proven as facts. Those Assumptions that has been verified and confirmed, are transfered to the Facts category and will be analyzed further int he Analysis section. We need to add this tool to our Events module as well as Sequence of Steps with Timing of such events -- absolutely necessary part of investigation process.

In Assumption window, there should be a possibility to go back to it and tick the box "Verified fact", so that software would consider it as a fact now and it will appear on the fishbone when analyzing facts.

For example "Assumptions" are always logged on a SnapChart(R) of the TapRoot(R) investigation method.
