Newly created devices may have an isolation section disabled in case during creation of the device it was unselected that this device requires an Isolation instruction. Fields with Isolation steps details appear once a button that “Device requires an isolation instruction” is activated.

  1.          In the  module within  section select the device that you wish to indicate Isolation steps for or find it in the list if you have just created this new device. Use the search bar to facilitate your search . Click on Identifier to open it.

  1.          Within the  section activate the button that this device requires an isolation instruction — this will open instructions fields to indicate details. Select the position of the device from the drop-down list and Additional instruction if necessary

  1.      Activate  button if a device requires a Padlock for an Isolation step. Select a lockout mechanism and a number of such mechanisms.

                           

Positions, Additional instruction and Lockout mechanism required drop-down lists are being modified in General Settings for Lockout module by users that have relevant rights.
