Number of days away from work or job transfer days (lost time injury cases) is calculated starting from the following day after the day the injury was sustained.

  1.         In the  module find in the list the Event that you’re willing to input number of absence days (for example to open the information (use search field or filter tool to facilitate finding necessary event)

  1.     Within the left side menu select Classification tab

                                   

  1.        When selecting the Event type  and Classification  or open fields to mention number of Transfer days or Days of absence

  1.      This field can be filled up later as person returns to work. Number of days away from work influences the Severity rate dashboard for the unit that this Event is associated with.

  1.          Select date when days away from work started count – day after the incident.

Transfer days field under this classification is filled up if in addition to Days of absence or Fatality there were also Transfer days to another type of job if both have been caused by the same incident. If incident caused only transfer to an easier task, but did not cause days away from work, then normally it’s a different classification
