Where to enter machine detailed information?

Creating, deleting, deactivating or editing entities in the Machines
module is possible for users having relevant rights for their Role in CONFORMiT
tenant. Those not having rights to create or edit machine units will not see
these buttons. Please refer to your company’s CONFORMiT administrator if you
need to obtain such rights.
- Go to
module. This will open the structure of machine units – organizational tree of locations and machines that exists at the moment. Find the unit (machine or location) you wish to add details for and select it to open details.
- Additional machine details may include more precise Location and an Owner (person responsible for proper lockout of the machine). Owner is selected among users of the Lockout module (manager, reference expert for the machine, lockout authorized person, etc.) and will be notified when the Lockout Procedure involving this Machine is close to expiry date, so it could be reviewed.
- Possibility to indicate a Machine being a “confined space” will allow to
filter it by this criteria in the list of Procedures.
- Machine model and serial number may be also indicated in details
- Option to indicate a machine being
makes it possible to filter the Lockout Procedures list by this indicator in case such Machine is involved in it.
Additional information is optional, and all the fields mentioned above
may be left blank if not considered to be applicable or necessary.
