Managing what can be associated with the parent unit and child unit

Managing what can be associated to the unit influences
Dashboards and statistics of these units and is performed for that purpose. If
statistics within your company are managed at the level of departments or facilities,
but a smaller units exist in your organizational structure, then events,
inspections, risks or CAPAs should be associated with units that are
departments and facilities, and not with their sub-divisions (child units).
In the within the organizational structure find the Parent Unit that you wish
to associate Events and/or Inspections/CAPAs/Risks and open the structure under
it:
Click on their child units and in Unit Details
section select what do you want or unselect what you don’t want to be
associated with those sub-units
After unselecting those items that you wish to be
associated with the Parent Unit in relevant modules these units will not be
shown as an option when, for example, some user would be declaring an Event or performing
an Inspection. Therefore, users will have to select the Parent Unit instead of a
sub-division (child unit).
