Injuries or illnesses classification code that is selected when indicating injured body part is based on the OIICS Code Trees of US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. It is only possible to select injuries or illness codes when the event type implies the injury (such as days away from work or LTI, restricted work case or medical treatment case are selected). If event type does not imply the injury, then this section of the menu will not be available.

  1. Go to module and find the event that you need. Open the Event details by clicking on ID number (for example ).

  1.       In the Event menu click on Reporting – Injuries and Illnesses tab, which will take you to the section to select relevant classification.

 

  1.          Click on the plus to open the window of selection of the injured body part and an injury type out of drop-down list. You may start typing in the field above drop-down list to facilitate the search. Tick the box whether it's a Right or Left (or both) in case injury is concerning a paired organ. Click on once selected.
