How to start a new intervention?

Intervention procedure may be started for the lockout to be executed immediately
or prepared in advance for the lockout that will be performed at a later time. Those
having access to Intervention App all have rights to start a new Intervention
and perform steps within it.
- On the first page with the list of all
interventions click on
to start a new Intervention (machine lockout). Select the machine unit you need to apply lockout to and click
- Once location is confirmed select the type of lockout being applied – complete or partial in case both procedures exist for this unit of equipment. After selection you’ll be prompted to the next page.
- Verify if this is the procedure you actually are
planning to apply: number of steps and their description, name of the equipment,
status of the procedure, necessary material. Confirm by clicking on
- Once control is added, please select between 2 options:
- Start
Now, which means to start applying Lockout steps on the machine immediately,
or
- Submit Intervention
– that is if you simply prepared it in advance to be implemented at a
later time.
- If you select to Start Now you will be prompted to 1st step of the procedure to implement Lockout steps and confirm. After selecting Submit Intervention – it will appear in the list of interventions with Ready to implement status
