Creating a new device type

Creating or editing device types is possible for
those having rights of Administrator in their tenant. Deleting device types
from the list can be done only if this device type hasn’t been used yet.
- In
select tabs Lockout – Device types.
- Press the button
and fill up information in the window that opens up and consists of 4 pages. Name the device, attach image.
- If applicable, select from drop-down lists shutdown, isolation and return to service positions of the device and relevant instructions. Steps 2, 3 and 4 are optional.
- Use
and
buttons to navigate in this window when needed to skip a step or return to previous one. Once finished confirm by clicking on
button or
in case you have multiple device types that you need to create.
- Newly created device will appear in the list. Use the search bar to facilitate search for it when needed.
