Transitions from one status to another in the Workflow define its effectiveness and should reflect actions taken within your company when handling an event. Transitions may pass the Status forward and in the reverse direction along the Workflow sequence. It is necessary to consider all possible actions that will have to be taken during each stage of dealing with event reporting, investigation, analysis. Process stages must be created as separate Statuses with possibility to assign responsible employees. Whereas changes from one stage to another, depending on consequences, have to be arranged as Transitions within the workflow.

  1.          Go to and in the Settings menu select Workflows. Find the workflow that you want to add Transition to from the list.

       

  1.        Find the Status from which you want to add a Transition to some other Status and open details

        

  1.         Click on under Transitions section to the right and fill up the window – select Status of the Workflow to which this Transition changes from the current status and type the name of the Transition (usually describing the situation encountered while processing the event in current Status); confirm by pressingin the bottom of the window.

  1.      New transition appears within the status that we selected in the beginning, and it can be moved by grabbing it in the dotted area as we put our cursor over it, as well as it may be edited or deleted when necessary – these buttons also appear once the cursor is within Transition box
